The voice quality is great.DECT 6.0 ensures that it does not interfere with my wireless network.however, in this age of cell phones, the address book and other functions on this phone looks like they are from the stone age.
I got this 6.0 model, at substantial extra cost, to prevent interference from my nearby computer stuff that was causing my 2.4 cordless phone to cut in and out during calls. Sound quality and range and features are all great but the unit is strangely light and a bit hard to hold comfortably, and I wish it had a belt hook since putting it in my pocket would certainly press buttons accidentally.
Bought the base set with phone early last year. Superb in all regards, especially compared to a GE phone we had for some years before it failed to recharge (and on which reception was noisy); and then compared to an equally priced make we bought thru Amazon.com which was awful. This Panasonic has been great, now for a year, so much so that we bought a satellite unit we keep on a narrow ledge that separates our dining room from our living room, which we use both for regular phone service and for walkie-talkie-like service between the floors of our 4-levle townhouse.
I tried 5 other phones where the people I called complained that I was breaking up. While this one wasn't PERFECT for all calls, it was by FAR the best. It was GOOD for about 70% of the calls.Did I mention that I was using it for a Magicjack connection.
There are numerous times that the signal is not strong enough to make a call unless within 5 feet of base. Not satisfied with purchase.
